Richard J. Corbett, CEO

Mr. Corbett holds a B.S. degree in Agricultural Engineering. He has more than thirty five years experience assisting environmental engineers in the design of water and wastewater projects. Mr. Corbett has involved Vessco in several Design/Build contracts, and other innovative water and wastewater treatment ideas including nitrogen and phosphorus removal, and high rate clarification and carbon removal systems. Mr. Corbett is an active member of the Water Environment Federation, American Water Works Association, Central States Water Environment Federation, and the Minnesota Wastewater Operators Association.


Brian R. DeWolf, P.E., President

Mr. DeWolf is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Minnesota and the holder of a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering. He has prior consulting engineer experience in the design and management of water treatment and wastewater treatment projects. This consulting experience has given Mr. DeWolf first hand knowledge of correct equipment applications and process expectations. As a member of the team, Mr. DeWolf leads the management of Vessco and also engages in capital project equipment sales. Mr. DeWolf is also an active member of the Water Environment Federation, American Water Works Association, Central States Water Environment Federation, and the Rural Water Association in both Minnesota and North Dakota.

Peter Svebakken,Industrial Sales

Pete Svebakken is the Industrial Representative in all of Vessco’s territory. Pete holds a MS degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Iowa and has over 20 years of combined engineering experience in the mining, energy and chemical manufacturing industries. Pete has extensive experience in the design and application of water and wastewater treatment equipment and a pragmatic understanding of how to contribute to your company’s bottom line. Pete is eager to assist you with any industrial equipment applications.


 

Harger

Jon Harger, Vice President

Mr. Harger holds a A.A.S. degree in mechanical engineering from Kirkwood College. Prior to joining Vessco, he worked for several years at General Filter Company in Ames, Iowa. At Vessco, Mr. Harger is responsible for capital project equipment sales primarily in Iowa and Nebraska

 


 

Clark

Clark Corbett – Sales

Clark has a BA degree in Biology and Business from Arizona State University. Clark’s specialty is Chemical Feed functions and purpose. As the ‘fresh’ Corbett blood at Vessco, Clark is avidly traveling Southern Minnesota and South Dakota establishing contact with water and wastewater treatment equipment facilities. His experience entails installation and maintenance of Vessco manufactured chemical feed skid applications. Clark is also an active member of the Water Environment Federation, American Water Works Association, Central States Water Environment Federation, and the Minnesota Rural Water Association.

Chad Beltrand – Flow Control Sales

Chad Beltrand is an Inside Salesman for the Flow Control division of Vessco. Chad works closely with Eric Lyford managing Flow Control from quoting all the way to processing, tracking and installation. His experience entails processing and booking trucks for C.H. Robinson, brokering and tracking products for Cargill, maintenance and installation of DeZURIK/Apco Valves and Rotork Operators. He is also the main contact for Flow Control Parts.  Chad graduated from Arizona State University with a BA Degree in Business and Communication.

 


Joel Morgan- Flow Control Sales

Joel Morgan is a graduate of the University of Kansas with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology.   He has spent the past 21 years selling and servicing valves and actuators.   His flow control experience and knowledge is diverse with extensive experience in sales, application engineering and with retrofit opportunities.   He has experience in both municipal water and wastewater treatment as well as industrial processes, both as a manufacturer’s representative and also as a regional sales manager.  Joel joined Vessco in 2016 after spending the past 7 years as an Area Sales Manager for Rotork Controls, Inc.   Joel’s is responsible for the Flow Control Division, managing valve and actuator sales in the entire Vessco territory of MN, ND, SD, IA, NE and western WI.

Cory Sonner– Sales

Mr. Sonner is a Mechanical Engineer graduate from Iowa State University.  He has followed the career path of the other Corn Patch team starting at General Filter Company in Ames, Iowa.  His experience there entails starting out as a Project Engineer designing water treatment products and then onto sales as a fast paced Applications Engineer.  His work history ended under the current owners, WesTech, successfully selling the MICROFLOC/General Filter product line in the West coast as a travelling Technical Sales Manager.  At his current and final home with Vessco, Mr. Sonner is in charge of capital project equipment sales for Iowa and Nebraska.  Not to mention, Mr. Sonner is also an active member of the Water Environment Federation, American Water Works Association and the Rural Water Association in both Iowa and Nebraska.


Jason Loots – Plant Sales/Service

Jason is an experienced water and wastewater plant operator with 9 year’s experience at Story City. He maintains a Grade 3 Wastewater and Grade 2 Water and Distribution License.  Keeping with the Vessco plan, his experience will provide process and equipment solutions directly to our customers. His hands on attitude will also provide the ability to help maintain equipment. Jason is active in the IAWEA and head of the membership committee.
